Playwright’s Creative Space
Playwright’s Creative Space is an initiative of The Ensemble Theatre that serves our Mission by developing the talent of local Houston playwrights. Playwrights are chosen through a selection process, developed over the span of the Season, and have their developed work performed on a concert reading in the Spring.

New Voices Fest
The Ensemble Theatre New Voices FEST includes the presentation of nurtured works, dynamic workshops on the how-to’s of successful artistry including a wide-range of topics connected to the world of theatre such as technical elements, mental health, producing, playwriting, and law.

Artist Highlight Project
The Ensemble Theatre Artist Highlight Project is an opportunity for artists who are members of The Ensemble Theatre community, having worked directly in some capacity on the mainstage, Tour Education, or special project performance within the last ten years, to propose works that will be supported by the theatre. Production support might include assistance with set, lights, sound, props, video, costumes, finding artists, box office, and marketing and publicity. This collaborative effort is exciting for everyone and a great opportunity for artists to highlight their works. While the project will receive a modest budget, the anticipation is that it will be a quality project reflecting the standards of The Ensemble Theatre.
